Even as we suffer, God knows our pain and our suffering. He watched in
agony as His Son was beaten and bleeding. He could do nothing to help
Him, for it was the only way to save the children He so dearly loved. When
we suffer, it is for a greater purpose. God promises that He will work
all things, even suffering, to the good of those who love Him. We may not
understand it, but we don't have to. Instead, we need to trust in Jesus
to take us through life's darkest hour. The road is narrow and dark.
It's treacherous and deceitful at times, it seems that if we take one
wrong step we will fall, never to recover. What we so easily forget is
that a set of footprints already exists in the road, the pathway to
heaven. They are the footsteps of our Savior, who paved the way for us so
long ago. He suffered more greatly than any of us can ever imagine, and
yet He made it home to His Father in heaven. If you look closely, you can
see the footprints of Jesus before you. Let Him guide you, trust in His
Word and promises. Walk by faith, and not by sight. The Lord is in control
of your life. Trust in Him and rest in His unfailing love, for you are in
His hands. He shall lead you safely home, where there are no tears or
pain. When you feel so alone, heartbroken and in pain, remember that He
already knows what you're going through. Yes, He knows.

Some say that my eyes are just like my Daddy's

Some say that my smile is just like my Mama's

but I want everyone to say
that my heart is just like Jesus.

I KNOW YOUR NAME
...Yes, I know your name Every prayer you pray I'm the one who brought you to this place The voice who
sings to you The hand that clings to you Oh my child, I've always known your name...
--from Michael W.
Smith's "Live the Life" CD

JUST THINK... You are here not by chance, but by God's choosing. His hand formed you and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else-you are one of a kind. You lack nothing that His grace can't give you. He has
allowed you to be here at this time in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation.

KEEP ON
...I want you to trust Me with your future-- I will do what is good and
what is best.
When things are shaking, I will keep you steady... when things are hurting, I will heal the pain...
when things are uncertain, I will be your guide... when things are unclear, I will be your wisdom... when things
are overwhelming, I will be your strength... when things are dark, I will be your light... when things are hectic, I
will be your rest.
It brings Me great pleasure to know your heart is trusting in Me. Keep On in My strength, keep
on in My joy, keep on in My peace, keep on in My love.

NEVER BEEN UNLOVED
I have been unfaithful
I have been unworthy
I have been unrighteous
And I have been unmerciful
I have been unreachable
I have been unteachable
I have been unwilling
And I have been undesirable
And sometimes I have been unwise
I've been undone by what I'm unsure of
But because of you
And all that you went through
I know that I have never been unloved
I have been unbroken
I have been unmended
I have been uneasy
And I've been unapproachable
I've been unemotional
I've been unexceptional
I've been undecided
And I have been unqualified
Unaware--I have been unfair
I've been unfit for blessings from above
But even I can see
The sacrifice You made for me
To show that I have never been unloved
It's because of you
And all that you went through
I know that I have never been unloved --by Michael W Smith/Wayne Kirkpatrick

thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Dance Like No One's Watching

Author Unknown
We convince ourselves, that life will be better
AFTER we get married, then have a baby, then another.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough
and we'll be more content when they are.
After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with.
We will surely be happy when they grow out of that stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete
when our spouse gets his or her act together
when we get a nicer car, when we are able to go on a nice vacation, or when we retire.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right NOW!
Because if not now, when?
Life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D. Souza. He said, "For a long time it had seemed to me
that life was about to begin -- real life.
But, there was always some obstacle in the way,
Something to be gotten through first,
Some unfinished business, Time still to be served, Or a debt to be paid.
THEN life would begin.
At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."
This perspective has helped me to see, that there is no WAY to happiness.
Happiness IS the way.
So, treasure every moment that you have and
Treasure it more because you shared it with someone special,
special enough to spend your time.....
and remember that time waits for no one.
So, stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school,
until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds,
until you have kids, until your kids leave the house,
until you get the job of your dreams, until you retire,
until you get married, until you get divorced,
until Friday night, until Sunday morning,
until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid for,
until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter,
Decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
Thought for the day:
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And.....dance like no one's watching.

THE WARRIOR

This morning my thoughts traveled along To a place in my life where days have long since gone. Beholding an image of
what I used to be As visions were stirred, and God spoke to me
He showed me a Warrior, a soldier in place
Positioned by Heaven, yet I saw not the face I watched as the Warrior fought enemies That came from the darkness with
destruction for me
I saw as the Warrior would dry away tears As all of Heaven's Angels hovered so near I saw
many wounds on the Warrior's face Yet weapons of warfare were firmly in place
I felt my heart weeping, my eyes
held so much As God let me feel the Warrior's prayer touched I thought "how familiar" the words that were prayed.
The prayers were like lightening that never would fade
I said to God, "please, the Warrior's name" He gave no
reply, he chose to refrain. I asked, "Lord, who is broken that they need such prayer? He showed me an image of
myself standing there
Bound by confusion, lost and alone, I felt prayers of the Warrior carry me home. I asked
"Please show me Lord, this Warrior so true" I watched and I wept, for Mother... the Warrior, was you!

I'm a little angel. Of course I'm just pretend.
I'm nothing like the angels that heaven sends. I'm here as a reminder that in everything you do, you're
shielded & covered by the Father's care for you. You will never be forsaken or left her all alone. For Jesus is
your shepherd and heaven is your home.
